AAZK meeting minutes from December 5, 2006

• AAZK National Finance- National is giving chapters a few options for re-chaptering to raise more money for National, moral of the story we need to give them more money this year.
• ICZ Steering Committee will be in Seattle 3/11-3/17, they will be at the zoo for 2 days to talk about the conference, there is a trip in the works down to Pt. Defiance
• 2007 meetings will be held on the first Thursday of every month, except for July which will be the second Thursday due to the holiday. They will be held in the Ed Center Conference room
• The vote from the officers are the same as the past year

• We are on hold to solicit for conference committee members until we hear back from Bruce B. on our agreement with time allotment, etc.

Addition to minutes:

Thanks Mr. Secretary. I have one additional comment--- I mentioned in the meeting that Adraina Giron, the keeper from Colombia whom we have sponsored twice to attend the ICZ conferences, will be attending the IAATE conference in Tacoma next Feb 7-10. I confirmed with her today that she will come here on Monday 12th, and has agreed to give a brown bag about her facilities. It will be great to meet her, hopefully some of us will have time to show her around and make her welcome in Seattle !
