Sans, Marguerite - VI Marmot Keeper Mountain View Conservation and Breeding Centre British Columbia , Canada Marguerite Sans completed a degree in Conservation Biology at the University of British Columbia in 2006. During schooling she volunteered with the Vancouver Aquarium in education, invasive plant removal and Marine Mammal Rescue and Rehabilitation. She also spent two years volunteering as a rehabilitator with the Wildlife Rescue Association. Before being hired as a relief keeper, Marguerite volunteered at Mountain View Conservation Centre for 10 months. She has been employed at the Centre since 2006 and has worked with hoofstock, carnivores, primates and rodents. Currently Marguerite is a full-time carnivore/primate keeper and the Head Keeper of the Vancouver Island Marmot Breeding Program at Mountain View . Through her work as Marmot Keeper for 3 seasons, she has had opportunities to visit field sites and participate in releases.
