Staker, Lynda, A - Macropod husbandry specialist Queensland , Australia Lynda Staker is one of Australia 's foremost speakers on the hand-raising and husbandry of macropods. Lynda has spent 23 years caring for, rehabilitating and studying many Australian marsupial species. She pioneered vital aspects of macropod management, including the clinical signs and diagnosis of diseases over 15 years at her private wildlife hospital. To date she has presented seventy five lectures/workshops, with the majority of her presentations being in the form of her four day lecture. She has presented internationally in Ohio USA, and was commissioned as an Australian marsupial consultant in Kentucky USA, during 2003-4. With over 20 years of personal experience in the raising of macropods, Lynda has developed a knowledge-base that is unsurpassed.
