After receiving a Bachelor of Science Zoology degree from Michigan State University , I started my career as a keeper intern at Lincoln Park Zoo in 2000. I worked in a few departments including Primate and Bird. I transferred to Regenstein Center for African Apes in 2007. I’m very involved in our AAZK chapter, held several offices over the years and served as the 2006 National AAZK conference co-chair.
