Amanda Kamradt began her career as a zookeeper in 2006 at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago where she worked with domestic hoofstock and apes, and later became a primate keeper at the Houston Zoo. She now works at the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston , where her charges consist of a variety of birds, hoofstock, Australian animals, and butterflies. She holds bachelor degrees in Zoology and Psychology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale , and has served as Co-Chair of the AAZK Conservation Committee for two years
