Lynsey Jones is Assistant Development Manager at Chester Zoo. Her role involves fundraising to bring in additional income above visitor-revenue, specialising in the area of grants and trusts. She has been at Chester Zoo since graduating in 2000. Lynsey is a council member of the Association of British and Irish Wild Animal Keepers (ABWAK) and within that remit focuses on marketing, fundraising and web development. Until recently Lynsey also sat on the organising committee of Chester Zoo’s Dreamnight event which she describes as a very fulfilling and worthwhile role. Lynsey classes scuba diving, reading classic literature, dancing, running, pilates and watching sport among her interests.
