Nikki has been working at Tautphaus Park Zoo in Idaho Falls , Idaho as a Relief Keeper for a year and a half. Before that, she completed internships at Chicago Zoological Society’s Brookfield Zoo in Chicago , Illinois , and Miami Seaquarium, in Key Biscayne, Florida , focusing on marine mammal training.

Nikki has an Associate of Arts degree with honors from the College of DuPage , and graduated from Trinity International University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Chemistry. She is currently finishing a Master of Arts degree in Bioethics. She hopes to obtain a position in marine mammal or avian training after she marries her fiancé in the spring of 2010.
